Privacy policy

Fifty Atlas is a family trip map. We collect only what we need to run your atlas and, if you subscribe, to keep the yearly plan attached to this iPhone or family link.

What we store

Family profile (names you enter, travel preferences, airline and hotel brands), state stamps, trip notes, memories, saved ideas, and chat with Atlas.

Family sign-in

Family sign-in uses an email address and a sign-in cookie. An adult on the atlas allow-list enters that email. We email a one-time link. When you confirm it, we set an HttpOnly cookie named fa_session on this host (about 30 days) so we can show that family's atlas. The cookie is host-only. It does not travel to other Fifty Atlas hostnames. Signing out deletes the cookie.

Share links

Share links are read-only. A private /f/… URL lets anyone who has it view that family's atlas. It does not let them edit. Only a hash of the token is stored. The family can revoke the link. We never put real family data on the public sample.

Agent connectors

Agent connectors (Grok, Muse, Hark) can read and edit a family's atlas with the family's permission. That permission is an API key the family (or an admin) issues to the agent. Edits are written as a new version with the agent's label. The public sample atlas is placeholder data only.

Payments

App Store purchases are processed by Apple. We receive a yes/no on whether the yearly plan is active. We do not see your full card number.

Kids

This app is for families. We do not show third-party ads to children. Kid names and notes stay in your atlas. Do not put information in memories you would not want on a shared family link.

Analytics

The public site uses Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people open (home, sample, ideas, trip views). Share-link tokens are stripped before anything is sent, so a private family URL does not show up in reports. We do not use this for ads. A tracker blocker will stop it.

Affiliate links

Booking links (flights, hotels, tickets) may use Skimlinks. If a merchant pays a commission, that is how. It does not change the price you pay. If Skimlinks does not cover a merchant, the link still goes to the real page.
